About Fashion-Hound

Let’s start with the fact that I would adopt every dog that needed a home if I could!  Where does this love of dogs come from you might ask…. Well, I spent my entire childhood surrounded by wonderful dogs – four silly and loving Shih-Tzus - E-Nuff, Jazz, Khan and Pooh, as well as an endearing mutt named Peaches. As an adult, I have been blessed with the companionship of my dear and charming 75 pound “lap dog” Dalmatian, Domino, for the past 11 years and have recently added Storm, a rambunctious black lab-chow mix, to the family. 

The Fashion-Hound story starts with a devoted dog-lover who wanted her dog to show off the team colors of her alma mater. She searched high and low but could not find anything that was both high-quality and a stylish accessory for her best friend. So she started sewing and created a stylish collar that really captured the essence of fashion and quality that she was seeking. As her dog began strutting around the neighborhood, friends, family and neighbors took notice and started placing orders. The rest, as they say, is history, and Fashion-Hound was born. It has now grown into a far-reaching way for dog’s around the world to express their true colors! 

The success of these products is built into the concept - you can always count on the high-quality but customers have always been encouraged to place custom orders if they did not see exactly the size or color combination they desired. Our customers have embraced the idea of creating unique accessories for their pets.
